"The great sculpture can not be understood without the architecture. I have acquired this sense, the sense of sculpture becoming architecture, which unfortunately is a little lacking here. On the other hand, the exhibition that I saw four years ago, an exhibition of modern architecture, there were some Japanese who were amazing. What I noticed? That architecture, with these large scale meshes, was sculpture indeed. A meeting that is clear, without wanting to perform the smart one, upon seeing it you do believe that it is so. This is why the architecture helped me a lot in my work."
