On Tuesday, May 2, 2023, we had the honor and pleasure to visit the Georgios Zongolopoulos Foundation. The small group of visually impaired participants who took part in the specially designed tactile tour had the opportunity to experience and engage with the original small-scale sculptures of the famous sculptor. Through this tactile journey, they learned aspects of his history, personal life, and career. We would like to warmly thank Mr. Nikos Theodoridis, Chairman of the Foundation’s Board of Directors and nephew of Georgios Zongolopoulos; Mrs. Yvonne Theodoridi, General Secretary; Mrs. Myli Paschali, Board Member; and Mrs. Elpiniki Delaporta, the Foundation’s scientific collaborator, for their very warm welcome at Georgios Zongolopoulos’s residence and for organizing an exemplary tactile tour of the works of this great Greek artist.
