DESCRIPTION: The sculpture "VOID WITH UMBRELLA" was created during 1986–1993. The integration of empty space in Giorgos Zongolopoulos’ sculpture is a dominant element of his works, as through the void he establishes a conceptual dialogue between the sculpture and the environment in which it is placed.
