In keeping with Giorgos Zongolopoulos’ vision of making art accessible to the wider public, the Giorgios Zongolopoulos Foundation and the Organization for Social Solidarity, Protection, Culture and Sports (OKAPA) of the Municipality of Filothei–Psychiko are organizing a free guided tour program on the first Sunday of every month at 12 noon at the Psychiko Open-Air Sculpture Gallery, located at Giorgos Zongolopoulos Square.
The Psychiko Sculpture Gallery is the only municipal open-air sculpture gallery in Greece dedicated to a single artist. It hosts large-scale iconic sculptures by Giorgos Zongolopoulos from various creative periods, displayed in a public and easily accessible space. It offers a unique opportunity for adults and children to become familiar with the artist’s work!
The Sculpture Gallery is located on Demokratias Avenue in Palaio Psychiko, next to the Church of Saint Demetrios.
Participation in the guided tours is free of charge.
