International Epilepsy Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On February 10, we participated in International Epilepsy Day by illuminating emblematic works by George Zongolopoulos.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-end=\"962\" data-start=\"898\">\"Pentacycle\" in Omonia Square<\/strong><br \/>\nThe George Zongolopoulos Foundation, in collaboration with the City of Athens, supported the initiative of the Hellenic National Association Against Epilepsy by lighting up the Omonia Square fountain and George Zongolopoulos\u2019 sculpture\u00a0<strong>\"Pentacycle\"\u00a0<\/strong>in purple.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-end=\"391\" data-start=\"338\">\"Umbrellas\" in Thessaloniki<\/strong><br data-end=\"394\" data-start=\"391\" \/>One of the most iconic public artworks in Greece,\u00a0<strong>\"Umbrellas\"<\/strong>\u00a0by George Zongolopoulos, located on the New Waterfront of Thessaloniki, was illuminated in purple to symbolize the international campaign for epilepsy awareness. Through this action, the Municipality of Thessaloniki and the George Zongolopoulos Foundation participated in the nationwide initiative under the slogan \"Shining a Light on the Dark Side!\"<\/p>\n<p><strong data-end=\"962\" data-start=\"898\">The \"Umbrella\" in Trikala\u00a0<\/strong><br data-end=\"965\" data-start=\"962\" \/>In Trikala,\u00a0<strong>the sculpture \"Umbrella\"<\/strong>\u00a0was also lit in purple, reinforcing the message of the day.
