Sculptures installation at the Presidential Mansion in Athens10.04.2017

The Presidency of the Greek Republic and the George Zongolopoulos Foundation recently installed at the Presidential Mansion in Athens three new sculptures created by sculptor George Zongolopoulos. The three sculptures which were installed on the premises of the Presidential Mansion are: Diaphragm, 1973 - Diaphragm, 1973 and Poet, 1956.

In collaboration with Mr. Alexandros Pappas, son of sculptor Yannis Pappas, sculptor Praxitelis Tzanoulinos and conservators Zoe Karampatsou and Constantina Thanou, the already installed sculptures of George Zongolopoulos, Yannis Pappas and Theodoros Papagiannis at the gardens of the Presidential Mansion were conserved.

The Presidency of the Greek Republic and the George Zongolopoulos Foundation has since 2006 installed the sculpture Tel Néant at the gardens of the Presidential Mansion, and in 2010 the sculpture Zalongo as well.
