The winners of the art competition visit the Zongolopoulos Foundation!
With great pleasure, the George Zongolopoulos Foundation welcomed the three winners of the 4th Annual Artistic Creation Competition “Landart & Jungart,” in collaboration with the Embassy of Slovakia in Athens and the P. O. Hviezdoslav school in Dolný Kubín.
During their visit, the students were guided through the open-air sculpture garden in Psychiko, as well as the home and studio of George and Eleni Zongolopoulos, and got to know up close the work of the internationally acclaimed Greek artist George Zongolopoulos.
The competition results:
• 1st Place: Ms. Nella Glončáková –

• 2nd Place (tie): Ms. Alžbeta Bystrianska – "UMBRELLAS"
• 2nd Place (tie): Ms. Nina Kubáňová –
«FALLEN ANGEL»
As recognition of their artistic creations, the Foundation presented symbolic gifts to each of the winners.
We warmly thank the Embassy of Slovakia, Consul Ms. Maria Burcikova, the educators—especially Mr. Peter Strežo and Ms. Katarina Dulačková—the parents, and of course all the students who participated in the competition.
This initiative is part of the Greece–Slovakia cultural exchange framework, aiming to strengthen youth creativity and the friendship between the two peoples through art.
