DESCRIPTION: The sculpture "LENS WITH UMBRELLA" was created in 1986. Lenses represented a distinctive and unique series of the artist’s works in the late 1970s and 1980s. The lens was incorporated into his artistic vocabulary to create an alternative perspective of his sculptures through the prism of magnification and the optical distortion of the sculptural object located behind the lens.
