DESCRIPTION: The lenses constituted a unique and distinctive series of works by the artist in the second half of the 1980s. The lens was incorporated into Giorgos Zongolopoulos’s artistic vocabulary aiming to create an alternative view of his sculptures through the prism of magnification and optical distortion of the sculptural object located behind the lens.
