The George Zongolopoulos Foundation and the Mayor of Thessaloniki, Stelios Angeloudis, Take Part in World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse (November 19, 2024)
Dear members, friends, and partners,
On the occasion of the World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse, the George Zongolopoulos Foundation actively participated in international events and awareness initiatives dedicated to this critical issue.
Observed annually on November 19, this dayaims to raise public awareness and strengthen action for the protection of children from all forms of abuse.
As part of these efforts, the Foundation collaborated with the Mayor of Thessaloniki, Mr. Stelios Angeloudis, and UNESCO, supporting the shared mission of creating a safer and healthier environment for children around the world.
Μια από τις κορυφαίες στιγμές της συμμετοχής μας υπήρξε η φωταγώγηση των Ομπρελών της Θεσσαλονίκης, έργο του Γιώργου Ζογγοπούλου, με το γαλάζιο χρώμα που συμβολίζει την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα κατά της Κακοποίησης των Παιδιών.
Η φωταγώγηση αυτή δεν ήταν μόνο μια καλλιτεχνική δήλωση, αλλά και ένα ισχυρό μήνυμα αλληλεγγύης και συνειδητοποίησης.
Μέσω της τέχνης, επικοινωνήσαμε την ανάγκη για προστασία, σεβασμό και ασφάλεια για τα παιδιά σε κάθε γωνιά του κόσμου.
Ευχαριστούμε για τη στήριξή σας και σας προσκαλούμε να συνεχίσουμε μαζί τον αγώνα για έναν κόσμο όπου κάθε παιδί μπορεί να μεγαλώνει με ασφάλεια και αξιοπρέπεια!
